SnK: I was worried about you [Levi x Reader]

Levi x reader

You were terrorized by the sight in front of your eyes. Many of your friends got devoured by those titans. Blood everywhere. Body parts everywhere. It was your first big expedition since joining the survey corps so no one really blamed you but you just stood there, with your hands gripping at the handle of the blades so tightly they were shaking. You felt so small compared to those titans and the tall trees surrounding you. Fear was taking over and the memories of the past replayed in your mind.....

"RUN!!!!" Your father screamed as he was getting eaten in the middle of the street and you were running into a small pathway between two houses with your mother gripping onto your hand. The both of you ran towards the evacuation ships where everyone was trying to get on. It was getting quite full so she shoved you onto the ship and started crying
"You must live (f/n)......" Were the last words you heard from her before the ship started to go. You tried to go back to her but you were washed back into the ship because of the people trying to get in. You sank  down to your knees and saw another girl with black hair and a scarf wrapped around her chin, a boy who looked very angry and a blonde and timid boy was sitting down next to you, shivering. There you made your friends who had the same fate as you; Eren, Mikasa and Armin...

A titan noticed you just standing there and rushed over to you. It's mouth wide open and hands reaching out towards you, running closer to you. But you couldn't move, your whole body was frozen and you could only stare at the titan, soon going to eat you up, and that was the end of it.

At the last minute, you closed your eyes, tears falling down your cheeks and you whispered "I'm sorry mum....I can't do it anymore. It's all over...."  

Suddenly, a fast green blur picked you up into the air, past the titan. You opened your eyes and as you look up, you see him.

Wait... What was his--

Oh......

Lance corporal Levi.

You forgot his name for a split second when you realized your crush Ahem, I mean superiorwas actually carrying you by your waist.

As he was flying past the trees using his 3DMG, he was looking forwards and no where else with his dark blue grey eyes and when he noticed that you recovered with a blush on your face, he just let out a 'tch' before getting yourselves out of the forest. You thought he had a slight blush on his face when he looked at you but dismissed the thought when you remembered that you were the one that was head over heels for him, not corporal....

He put you down, you said thank you and he just nodded. He shot the signal for retreat. We had lost too many lives already.

You whistled to call your horse and it came galloping towards you. You patted your horse and jumped on it, following behind Levi who was already quite far ahead of you. You looked behind to see so many people injured, many dead and unknown. You caught a glance of some of your close friends like Mikasa, Eren and Armin hurt, not physically but mentally. You slumped a bit and continued back to the headquarters with the depressing mood in the air.

Once you reached the headquarters you were told to help the injured. You tied bandages, talked the people who couldn't take all the stress, you sighed and looked out the window. You never realized the sky was so pretty and blue, the birds were flying with their wings of freedom. And all you were thinking about was titans, blood and death. You wished you hadn't joined the army in the first place, but after what had happened to Eren and Mikasa's mum and your friends when the colossal titan broke the wall letting the titans conquer shiganshina, you knew you were going to go against them and one day, defeat all of them and bring peace to humanity. And you could get wings of freedom for real, see what the world outside is like with your friends-kind of what Eren and the others want to do.

When you were busy daydreaming, Levi came over to you, snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Cadet (l/n) what are you doing?"

You saluted him and said
"I was daydreaming about the day that I will have the wings of freedom for real sir!"

"I see. And what are you supposed to be doing?" He stared at you with those cold eyes.

"I'm.... I'm supposed to be treating the injured sir."

"Then hurry up and get working."

"Yes sir!" You saluted him once again.

You were about to get new batches of bandages and first aid kits necessary for treating the injured, however you were stopped by him, again.

"After you're done with treating them, eat your dinner quickly and come to my office. I'm expecting you to be there. And if you forget and don't come, you'll get a month of chores. That also means washing the bathrooms. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. Until. They. Are. Spotless."

With that he went off and you stood there. What on earth did corporal want from you? And chores?! You didn't want any chores! You were known to be forgetful, so you tried your best to remember it.

During dinner, you were very uneasy and kept biting your own tongue while eating when you were thinking about the sorts of things Levi would scold you about. No one went into his office and came out looking confident. You thought you were going to be scolded. However, you didn't recall breaking any rules. What could he possibly scold you for?

You started to gobble up your dinner and your friends stared at you.

"Geez (f/n), you're not me, what's wrong?" Sasha asked.

"O-oh... Um... Uh... N-nothing's wrong. It's just....." You trailed off and looked over to the side.

"It's just?" Eren inquired curiously.

"Um.. It's just that...um... He asked me to go to his office after dinner...." You munched your bread.

"His?" Mikasa looked at you and stared.

"... Corporal Levi..." You mumbled.

With that, everyone stared at you. You didn't know about the rumors that (most probably) Hanji San spread about the fact that Levi likes you; everyone knows, except you.

"What does he want from you?" Armin asked carefully.

"I-I don't know.... That's why I'm so...stressed" you finished your bread and stood up.

Everyone muttered among themselves. You wondered what they were saying but you had to go to his office now. It was getting quite late.

You went down the hall that was dead silent. Every step you took made a loud noise, that echoed thorough the hallways. It was also quite dark and the whole atmosphere made you a little creeped out. When you finally reached his office, you knocked the door.

"Corporal Levi? Its (f/n) (l/n), you called me to come here..."

"Come in."

You turned the doorknob and slipped inside. Closing the door as quietly as you could despite the fact that the wooden door made loud creaking sounds you made your way to his desk.

He looked up from his paperwork and stared at you. You stood there uncomfortably, fidgeting with your fingers.

"Sit." He stated looking at the chair in front of the table.

You sat down and he stood up.
"Cadet (l/n), do you know why I called you here?"

"N-no sir." You looked down.

As he was circling around you slowly, he asked
"Why were you just standing there?"

"Um... Sir.... What do you mean by... standing there?"

"Why were you just standing there when the titan was going to eat you?" He asked more demandingly. He was getting angry all right....

"I..... I...." You looked down fighting back tears. "You remembered my past.... My friends and family getting eaten and crushed by the titans. I thought it was going to be the same to me.... I lost hope and.... I gave up on my mum .... I should be ashamed of myself ... I can't--" you slipped out of the chair and collapsed onto your knees. You gripped your hands tightly together and gritted your teeth out of shame and tears rolled down your face from the sadness that filled you.

Levi kneeled down beside you, placing a hand on your shoulder.
"Stop crying." He said. "I called you here to see why you just stood there. I understand clearly now. I take my words back... I was just.... Worried about you. Thinking about what would happen to me if you got yourself killed." For once he let all the emotions locked up in his heart pour out.

You looked up to him and wiped your tears away.
"Thank you for understanding... Geez I thought i was going to get scolded big time..." You giggled a little bit.

Levi looked at you thinking how cute you looked and suddenly asked you
"Hey (f/n), do you know about that rumor going around?"

"Huh?" You looked at him, clueless.

"Well... The rumor is that 'Levi likes cadet (f/n)' " he stated.

"Wh-what....?" Your eyes widened.

"Do you think it's true?"

"Uh... N-no I d-don't think so... I mean it's a rumor and no one would think of me like that..." Deep inside you hoped it was true, despite what you said.

"It's true." He stared at you.

"... I beg your pardon sir"

"I do like you." He got closer to your face.

You couldn't believe it! We're talking about I'm-so-badass-and-awesome-LEVI here! Your face heated up and you looked everywhere except his eyes which was only like a few cm away from yours.

"I.... Um... E-er I also f-feel that way towards y-you...." Oh man, your face was so red, heart beating rapidly.

Levi smiled faintly at you and said "then it's okay if I do this?" He was leaning in until...





"YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY SHORTY! WE WERE WAITING FOR THE DAY YOU WOULD CONFESS TO HER!!!!!!!!!!" Hanji kicked the door open and shouted out. She was going hyper and crazy.

Behind her, you saw some of your friends giggling and even commander Erwin was there! COMMANDER WAS THERE LAUGHING HIS BUTT OFF!!!! Your friends were now cheering for you and throwing chocolates everywhere.

Oh yeah. It was Valentines Day today.

Levi got really pissed probably because he was really embarrassed and he ordered Hanji to get out this instant and ordered everyone to pick up the chocolates and get lost.

When everyone was gone, you held a small piece of chocolate in your hand and hid it behind your back.

"Um.... Levi"

"What..." He looked like he was blushing.

"Happy Valentines Day" you smiled and gave him the chocolate.

"Tch..." He took it and kissed your cheek.

"Happy Valentines Day (f/n) and next time you make me worry about you, you're going to get chores." He said, eating the chocolate.

Extra:

Hanji was peeping through the window when Levi kissed you. She squealed

"Ohhhhh yessss! Another rumor I can make to irritate that shorty!"

~the next day~

"Hey guys, Levi kissed (f/n)!!!!!" She yelled across the dining table for the whole world to hear.

Your face turned red when everyone stared at you.

Hanji winked at you.

You were so going to kill her.
