AoT: Levi's Cute Hiccups [Levi x Reader]

."[f/n]!!!!!!" Hanji yelled across the hallway.

You sighed and turned around, dead panning her as she ran down the hall like a headless chicken. She's been bugging you a lot for the past week telling you all about her little children. Correction, her Titan children.

"What now Hanji, I swear if you're here to tell me one of your titans was being a bad boy again I will slap--" you got cut off by her loud voice.

"HAVE YOU SEEN SHORTY HICCUP BEFORE?" She stopped right in front of your nose and grinned.

"Wait... What." You looked at her and processed what just happened. All you heard was Levi and hiccups. You gave a small smile and said "No."

"OH MY GOD YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS! COME ON" she grabbed your arm and dragged you down the hallway, earning looks of pity from your friends.

For once you didn't regret being dragged with Hanji because you will see an extremely rare sight.

Hanji stopped at a corner and motioned you to look. She covered up her mouth and nose, going all red in the face until her ears. You looked around the corner and your eyes widened.

The so called heartless Heichou named Levi was hiccuping. And he looks and sounds so. damn. cute. He had a blush on his face while trying to stifle his hiccups from Ervin and when he hiccups, he lets out a high pitched voice like a little pup squealing.

Yep, you didn't regret Hanji dragging you all the way here at all.

You bit your lip to stop yourself from bursting out of laughter because he was so adorable going all red in the face trying to stop the hiccups.

"hic... Shi*... Ervin, I'll hic meet you l-lahic later." You heard him say to commander as he walked towards where you and Hanji was...

Scratch that, everyone was behind the corner hearing him hiccup like a lil' pup.

He turned the corner and was face to face with everyone and he glared at all of you.

"Get back to work useless cadets." His glare was already enough to make everyone but you and Hanji run away. "Hanji, get lost. You, come to my office." He looked at you while his upper half of the body was sort of spazzing out.

"Yes sir" you replied and waved goodbye to Hanji. She winked at you giving you a sort of uneasy feeling but shook it off.


He entered his office and you followed suit. He sat down in his chair and sighed, followed by a hiccup.

"Cadet [l/n], do you know how to stop this." He asked, shortly after, hiccuping.

"T-the hiccups?" You asked, standing right in front of his desk.

"What else would it be." He looked started to get impatient.

"U-um... W-well... I heard that it helps if you drink water upside down..." You said while going over to his cupboard full of teacups. You searched for a normal cup and found one sitting in the corner. Taking it out and filling it with water, you held it out to him.

"How the hichell am I supposed to hic drink water upside down" he sat up from his seat and walked over to you.

"Well... You drink the water but don't swallow it. Keep it in your mouth and bend down like you're going to pick up something but with your knees straight so it looks like you're being folded in half..." You quickly showed him how and he took the cup of glass from you. He did what you told him to until he finished the cup of water.

"D-did it w-work sir?" You ask him nervously.

"Yes." He looked at you and then hiccuped. "...no."

"O-oh okay.... Well um... T-then there's d-drinking water normally but very slowly. One sip at a time." You filled the empty glass of water and gave it to him. He sipped it slowly, and followed what you said.

"Is it okay now sir?" You ask again.

"I think s-hic. No. It's not helping." He tch-ed and looked like he was just going to give up.

"T-there's one more way I know to stop hiccups sir...." You said, sensing that he was giving up.

He gave a deep sigh and looked at you, almost desperately. "What is it"

"Hold your breath for as long as you can sir." You said.

"Hold my breath?" He looked at you, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh... Yes..." You said feeling a little nervous as he just raised an eyebrow at you.

"Well then... You shall be holding your breath with me as well [f/n]." He said, getting closer to you as you retreated back to the door. Your back hit the door and you looked at the handle. Suddenly, his hand shot there to lock the door and he pinned you against the door.

"Are you ready [f/n]" he whispered close to your face, eyes never leaving yours.

"H-Heichou what are you planning to--" you got cut off when he slammed his lips onto yours. You melted into the kiss and placed your hands on his shirt, tugging him gently as he pressed himself onto you.

After a while of holding your breath and being kissed at the same time, he pulled away, slightly gasping for air and you breathed heavily, all red in the cheeks. Your hand still gripped onto his shirt tightly and you felt his hot breath on your face.

"It worked" he smirked at you, breathing normally now.

"It d-did...." You breathed out, embarrassed yet a bit happy since your long time crush had just kissed you.

"We're going to do this every time I have hiccups" he said, returning to his desk. "You're dismissed for now." He sat down in his seat.

"Y-yes sir..." You saluted him and opened the door to leave.

"You better get used to it, we're going to do this quite often." He said.

You nodded and blushed as you closed the dorm.

As you headed back to your dorm, you stumbled across a very pleased looking Hanji and she grinned at you.

"I heard and saw everything that happened! You're shorty's little hiccup cure! You two look so cute together!" She giggled like a school girl.

"H-Hanji! W-what are y-you s-sa-saying?!" You blushed madly.

"Teehee ^^ aren't you glad you're his hiccup cure though?" She smiled sheepishly.

"W-well... You're not wrong b-but..." You looked away from her.

"No need to be so embarrassed about it. Sooner or later he's going to do it in public so good luck!" She said skipping off to the room. "See ya later [f/n]!"

'Public?!' you thought, gasping slightly.


~time skip to a fine morning a few days later~


"[f/n]!!!" Hanji chirped over to you as you ate your breakfast in the mess hall with your friends.

"Yes Hanji?" You said looking up to her.

"Shorty's calling you~" she chimed. "He wants you there quickly. It's urgent." She added.

You sighed as you stood up and said bye to your friends. Their eyes followed your figure as you walked over to Heichou.

"Yes Heichou?" You asked standing next of him.

He didn't say anything and just grabbed you by the collar of your shirt and pulled you down making you kiss him.

Everyone in the mess hall started to cheer and some even wolf whistled. You froze in shock as you held your breath.

When he pulled away, he smirked and whispered a quick thanks and you blushed. He looked around at the other cadets and rolled his eyes. Grabbing your arm, he dragged you out of the mess hall.

"Heichou... W-where are we going?" You asked.

"To my office." He replied.

"F-for what sir?"

"To continue where we left off from" he opened the door of his office and pushed you in.

"B-but you aren't hiccuping or spazzing sir" you blinked a few times, the word 'confused' was written all over your face.

"Who said I'm not going spazzing on the inside? You have no idea of how crazy I am for you [f/n]" he said in a rough and husky voice.

"Wh-what...." You squeaked.

He pushed you against the wall again and whispered into your ear "you really don't get it? I love you. It may seem sudden, but I've been seeing you for a long time, ever since you joined."

"Heichou...?" You started to breathe heavily again.

"No 'heichou' when we're alone like this. It's Levi." He said.

"L-Levi.... I.... I actually really love you too... I just couldn't say it because I'm such an useless cadet that's unworthy of---"

"Shhh. Don't say anymore." He placed his fingers on your lips. He kissed you gently and you kissed back, pulling him closer again.

When he pulled away, he smiled a bit and then

He started to hiccup again and you laughed a little. You wrapped your arms around his neck as you leaned closer to kiss him. He smirked and pulled you closer, hands snaking around your waist.

"You hiccup so easily Levi" you giggled a bit.

"It's not my fault." He said.

"Who knew that humanity's strongest soldier sounds like a little puppy when he hiccups."

"I'd like to see you hiccup." He scoffed a bit.

"I don't sound like a puppy." You pouted slightly. " I sound like a normal human bein-hic." You blushed and covered your mouth.

"You sound like a cute little chick." He snickered. "Here, I'll help you." He said leaning in for another kiss.

You pouted but then smiled into the kiss.

As he pulled back he asked "Better?"

You nodded as you hugged him.

God, you loved him so much.
