AoT: Care for you [Armin x Reader]

"....[f/n]?"


You open your eyes ever so slowly and saw the ceiling.


'wait... The ceiling?'


The last thing you remembered looking at was the sky while being on an expedition with the survey corps....


You look over to your left to see a small figure, opening your eyes a bit more, you saw him.

Armin Arlert, looking very worried and fidgeting with his hands. He had a bit of dark circles under his eyes showing signs that he has not been sleeping properly. Nevertheless, his eyes were still the brilliant blue ones that made you fall for him.

"[f/n]!" He started to cry.

You sat up and looked around the room. Judging by the appearance, you were in a ward.

"A-Armin?" You leaned forward to wipe away his tears but felt a sharp pain in your stomach.


'ouch... What the...?'


Looking at yourself, you saw bandages all around your arms, probably one around your stomach and had bandages on your right leg as well.

You felt your face and noticed that you even had a big plaster on your right cheek.


'what happened in that expedition...'


Armin looked at you and cried even more.

"I-I'm so-sorr-sorry [f/n], I-i c-couldn't save y-you.... I'm so useless.. . I " he gritted his teeth.

Still not knowing what happened, you ignored the pain and leaned forward to wipe away his tears.

"Armin, tell me what happened..." You whispered softly.

He looked up and started off:

"Well... We went out for an expedition and after a few hours, we were all tired and lost too many lives again, so we were ordered to retreat but... I... I couldn't find you anywhere.... I got scared so I went back to the forest to find you, and I saw you... Lying on the grass with your face up, blood coming out of your stomach and mouth... Your legs looked crushed and I thought you...you were gone. I couldn't believe it so I went down and checked on you. You were still breathing but you lost consciousness. Then, I saw it... The Titan I think severely injured you. I felt afraid... Scared as it approached us and I couldn't do anything. Nothing at all! But... But... Squad leader Hanji came and killed it off, and told me to go back with you. So i carried you back here.... It's been three days since..." He finished off looking angry at himself.

Armin had found you lying all alone half conscious.

"Armin..." You looked straight into his eyes.

"[f/n]...?" He looked back with his blue ones.

"Thank you..." You hugged him tightly and started to cry. "Thank you for finding me... If you hadn't, I would have probably been that Titan's food and dead by now."

He hugged you back and whispered "b-but I couldn't do anything..."

"You saved my life Armin, thank you so much." You hugged him even more tightly.

He nodded into your shoulder.

"And Armin, I just wanted to tell you that... That---" You blushed.

"I love you [f/n]! There's nothing more beautiful in this world than you, I was so scared to loose you, what would I do without you [f/n]? I would..." He blushed even more.

"Armin..." You blushed since your crush just confessed his love to you.

Patting his head slightly, you told him

"Armin,  I love you too. And, if I had died back there... I wouldn't have had the chance to tell you that and do this..."

You broke away and leaned into his face while blushing a thousand shades of red.



"Um... Ex-excuse me...?" A little girl opened the door. It was krista.

You look over to her and blushed even more.

Krista smiled and opened the door more widely to reveal the past members of the 104th trainee corps.

Eren said out loud "congrats Armin, you finally confessed your love to her."

"We've been waiting for so long you know?" Connie said.

Mikasa smiled.

"G-guys,,, I think we walked in when they were about to..." Krista giggled.

Jean walked away.

"I guess we should leave then?" Sasha closed the door.

"Yes we should." Mikasa grabbed Eren's arm and walked off.

Krista walked in and placed some food on the nightstand and winked at you when Armin wasn't looking.

You whispered a little thank you before she left.

"Now where were we--" you turned to look back at Armin when you felt something warm on your lips.

The warmth faded as quickly as it came and he was red in the face.

You smiled and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.

"I guess I should eat now..." You said while trying to lift your arm.

You couldn't lift your arms.

"Um... Sh-should I help you e-eat [f/n]?" He asked.

"Y-yes please... I can't seem to lift my arms up..." You blushed slightly.

He took the spoon and scooped up some soup. Blowing it lightly, he brought it near your mouth.

You opened and he put the spoon into your mouth. He blushed and asked "is it too okay? Not too hot...?"

"Not at all Armin" you smiled.

Doing this for a few minutes, you finished the soup and he put you back to sleep.

He held your hand tightly as you dozed off.

"I'll care for you [f/n]..." Before he closed his eyes.
